Datanest is a privacy-first OCR and document conversion service, operated by MMSInformatics. The service is currently in beta and provided free of charge.

2. What data we collect
- Account data: your email address for sign-in and service notifications.
- Authentication data: a securely hashed version of your password.
- Documents you upload: processed and deleted automatically after the operation completes.
- Transaction history: a record of which conversion type you used and when. No document content is stored.
- Security data: minimal logs to prevent abuse and brute-force attacks. Retained briefly, then deleted.
3. What we do NOT collect
- We do not store or read the content of your documents after processing.
- We do not use your documents to train any AI model.
- We do not use advertising trackers or profiling analytics.
- We do not sell or share your data with advertisers.
4. How we use your data
- To provide the service you requested.
- To send essential service emails (account verification, password reset).
- To detect and prevent abuse.
We do not send marketing emails without your explicit consent.
5. Third-party providers
We use trusted infrastructure and email-delivery providers to operate the service. These providers may process minimal technical data necessary for delivery and security, but do not have access to the content of your documents.
6. Data retention
- Uploaded documents: deleted shortly after processing.
- Account data: kept while your account is active. You may request deletion at any time.
- Security logs: retained briefly, then automatically deleted.

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data, and to object to certain processing. To exercise these rights, email support@mmsinformatics.com.
8. Security
We apply industry-standard security practices to protect your data, including encryption in transit and secure password storage. No system is perfectly secure; if you believe you've found a vulnerability, please report it to support@mmsinformatics.com.
9. Children's privacy
Datanest is not intended for users under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent change.
