Terms of Service

1. Agreement

By creating an account or using Datanest ("the service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service. The service is operated by MMSInformatics. Contact: support@mmsinformatics.com.

2. Beta status

Datanest is currently in beta and provided free of charge. Paid plans and credit purchases are not yet active; any pricing shown in the interface is for preview purposes only. Activation of paid plans will require an additional explicit agreement.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use Datanest. By creating an account, you confirm that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate.

4. Your account

• You are responsible for keeping your password secure.
• You must not share your account with others.
• You must verify your email address before using authenticated features.
• You may delete your account at any time by contacting support.
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Datanest to:

• Process documents you do not have the legal right to process.
• Process content that is illegal in your jurisdiction, including but not limited to child sexual abuse material, incitement to violence, or content infringing others' rights.
• Attempt to bypass security mechanisms.
• Reverse engineer, scrape, or build competing services using Datanest as a backend.
• Upload malware or files designed to harm our systems.
• Consume excessive resources or disrupt other users.

Violation may result in immediate account termination and, where applicable, reporting to law enforcement.

6. Your content

You retain all ownership rights to the documents you upload. We process them solely to provide the service you request. We do not claim any license to your content, do not store it after processing, and do not use it to train AI models.

7. Service availability

We aim for high uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. The service is provided "as is" and "as available". We may modify or discontinue features at any time, with reasonable notice for material changes.

8. OCR accuracy

OCR output is inherently imperfect. Accuracy depends on input quality, language, and many other factors. You are responsible for verifying the output before relying on it for legal, financial, medical, or other consequential decisions. We make no warranty of accuracy.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Datanest is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you have paid to Datanest in the 12 months preceding the claim, or USD 50, whichever is greater.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced via email or a prominent service notice. Continued use of the service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
